Library How-Tos

Please fill out this Book Suggestions form and the library technician will look into adding your book to the library.

Please refer to this document for instructions (including screenshots) on how to reserve a book from your Chromebook.

If you're using a different computer, please see instuctions below:

• From the library catalogue, search for the book you would like to reserve

• When you find the title, click on the Reserve button from either the Search Results or Title Details screen

• You will be prompted to login.  Login using your HDSB email address and password

• You will see a confirmation that your reserve has been placed, as well as what number in line your hold is,  

• When the book you have reserved is available, you will receive an email confirmation to your HDSB email account

• To check the status of your Reserve(s), click on My Account → My Borrowing → Reserves while logged in to the Library Catalogue:

• Books will be left on the library circulation desk to be picked up and checked out
